I had created this artwork for my HSC as 3 parts. I had etched a fictional urban plan and printed it onto 3 sheets of paper using ink and a printing press to create 3 exact images. I then worked over each print to create 3 individual urban characters. Each image is about 1.5 meters long and 1 meter tall. The concept was to take a generic plan and see how society, culture and time adapt to the built environment or how the built environment adapts to society, culture and time.

This is known as the Los Banos de Dona Maria de Padilla (Baths of Lady Maria de Padilla) and is located within the Alcazar of Seville, Spain. Although it was constructed between 1200 and 1400, it projects a sense of timelessness.
I took this photo when I went to Jakarta, Indonesia. It is of a volcano about 3 hours from the city and one of the most amazing sites I've ever seen.
